Dallas limo Cattle Baron’s disaster 1
Dallas Limo Cattle Baron’s disaster attendee point of view.
I think a lot of people are missing the point here. We all understand that the CBB committee can’t help the rain. But what they could have helped is leaving people abandoned in it. Once cars began getting stuck, someone should have been on top of the situation for the benefit of the guests. For example, instead of hiding and avoiding the situation and not taking any responsibility, perhaps calling local tow companies and getting them out there on standby? How about negotiating an hourly fee for those tow companies so that guests could be able to leave with their cars that night and not have to pay for the tow? How about being outside at the valet area to take ANY amount of responsibility, or to let people know that they at least had a plan in mind? I have planned a large charity event, and as the head of that event, I understood that EVERYTHING that night was ultimately my responsibility. In this situation, I would have never let my guests- especially knowing that some of them were large donors- feel like I had sneaked out the back door, abandoning them. So, it’s not necessarily the rain and mud we are complaining about, but the feeling that, at the end of the night, these ladies we all came to support by supporting their cause, really didn’t give a rip.
