Frame Destination recently made some improvements to the custom mat ordering process on their website to speed up the ordering process. Previously their website constantly recalculated the cost as you entered the mat board dimensions for the opening and borders. The re-calc process was turned off and added an “update size” button, The Update Button tells the website when you are ready for it to calculate the external mat size and the new cost.
Frame Destination offers volume discounts for custom matboard orders starting with a quantity of 4 for the same size and color. See the discounted mat price by changing the quantity after the mat is in the shopping cart. The next mat board price break is at quantity 10.
There are three different types of mat board for your matting needs:
Archival Bainbridge Alphamat 4-ply Mat board
Archival Bainbridge Alpharag 8-ply mat board
4-ply Paper mat board for temporary picture framing
