Mr. Google describes rich media content based search marketing.
Lee Thurburn, often referred to as Mr. Google, describes in detail what rich media content based search marketing is and how you can use it to grow your business.
Ever wondered why the most sought after American export is the produced in Hollywood? Ever wondered why people around the world crave movies and television shows that are produced in the U.S.? I think that the answer is that Hollywood has attracted the most talented group of writers that can be found anywhere in the world.
True, other countries and other parts of the U.S. produce quality theater, but, as soon as a writer gets enough experience to get hired by a studio in Hollywood they head that way. Why? Because Hollywood pays best and they get to interact with other creative people who help grow each others talents.
But, at another level, the success of Hollywood is rooted much deeper in the human psyche than you might imagine. Hollywood tells stories. People love to hear stories. Stories impart wisdom and they entertain. Stories are the single most powerful form of communication that exists and because Hollywood is so good at creating stories the whole world craves the output… films, television shows, DVDs, and streaming media.
In the last few years it has become possible for the average person to produce their own ’stories’ and get them distributed. With BLOGs, and Video on the Internet, and Social Media, it has become extremely easy for anyone with a keyboard or a camera to create a story that others can read of view. Most people have not yet figured out how to employe these technologies in their business and how to attract people to their stories on the web.
How to create a story is the subject of another article but how to distribute it is simple… start a BLOG and start writing about what you are passionate about. If you own a video camera you can tell your story in a video then upload it to your BLOG and people can watch it.
Simple.
Powerful.
Effective.
Have you started a BLOG yet? If you have congratulations. You have already done more than most. Chances are, however, that you still do not have the traffic to your BLOG that you want. There are some simple things that you can do to improve your BLOG visibility.
Here is a short list of specific things that you can do to get your BLOG Articles noticed:
- Article Titles should never be more than 70 characters in length
- Article Titles should contain one (and only one) Primary Search Term - what people search for on Google.
- The content of the BLOG Article should be at least 300 words. 500-1000 is much better.
- The 1st Paragraph should never be longer than 160 characters.
- The 1st Paragraph should be BOLD.
- The 1st Paragraph should have the Primary Search Term (that is in the Title) replicated… exactly as shown in the Title.
- The Primary Search Term in the 1st Paragraph should be a Link to another website.
- The Link should containt the Primary Search Term if possible.
- The Last Paragraph in the Article can be boiler-plate but must contain the Primary Search Term.
- The Primary Serch Term in the Last Paragraph should be a Link to another website.
- The Link should containt the Primary Search Term if possible.
If you follow the above formula you will have dramatically improved the chances that your BLOG Article will be found by the Search Engines.
